Welcome to the Golden Goose
The Golden Goose is closed at present, after our closing down and relocation sale. This is due to our retirement.
It will reopen in Palmer Street, Frome (up our road, Stony Street, then first left and look to the right) in late August under new management.
A big thank you to everyone who has made the Golden Goose happen and particularly our great customers.
We wish you all the very best.
For enquiries please email the new owner in late August at firstname.lastname@example.org.
New products have arrived as summer and better times are round the corner. Beautiful pictorial platters, candles of St eval in cornwall and a number of garden containers and decorative plant pots. A new delivery of interesting jigsaws is expected soon
New greetings cards and ranges of wrapping paper all for events are now available
The monks bench and blanket boxes are back, made in the UK from re - claimed timber. New products in that range are bed benches. For indoor use at the end of beds. We have also re ordered jigsaws that have been very popular and new wall posters will be with us soon.
Our extensive range of blankets has a number of new additions from two British mills, offers colours and styles for all interiors and tastes. A new series of glass lamp bases and lampshades from British designer/makers also offer subtle mixes of soft colours and simple natural motifs.
The smaller pictures to the right give a glimpse of the Emma Bridgewater range, Summer Cherry, and our extensive range of reasonably priced rugs. Also a popular new range of toiletries with a famous William Morris design for the packaging.
Also just in are the quotable mugs with great sayings by famous folk in history, all boxed and a great gift.
For all gifts and home accessories we always carry a well chosen range of unique ideas for everyone and every occasion, that are selected for design and craftsmanship.
We are always looking for something that little bit different to add to our stocks. All goods are fairly traded, some are organic and we try to source them from the UK where possible. As a result our friendly shop is full of beautiful things that are a delight either to give or to receive.
